Novatouch TKL and NKRO
« on: Thu, 19 February 2015, 19:02:02 »
Okay.. this may seem like a silly thing.. but while gaming I often have shortcuts bound to my function keys. I ended up pressing shift+w+f1 (also f2-f4) and the function keys wouldn't register. Does NKRO not include the function keys or is this a faulty keyboard? I've tried going to Microsoft's site to test for NKRO but their program doesn't have the function keys shown.

Try it with aquakeytest: https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=6643.0

My novatouch works under Windows 8 registering shift+w+f1+f2+f3+f4 all at the same time. If aqua detects it, the issue may be with your game, rather than the board.

Thank you for the link to that program. I tried it out and it registered all the keys. I thought it may be a keyboard defect because I also tried opening up Windows Explorer (Windows 8.1) and tired holding shift+w+f1 to see if it would pop the help window. (It didn't btw :D)

Thanks again for the link to that program. That's helped given me a peace of mind about the keyboard.
