Hello everyone.
I've been lurking on these forums for a while now, and thought it was time to introduce myself.
I'm relatively new to mechanical keyboards.
4 years ago my first mechanical keyboard was the Mionix Zibal 60.
http://mionix.net/keyboard/zibal-60/The Zibal 60 features cherry mx blacks, ABS key-caps, and is back-lit. I had no clue about different key-cap types, or to even look for such a thing. I chose the cherry blacks because in my research, at the time, they were favored by most gamers.
I quickly noticed the zibal's key-caps starting to wear though only after a year and now, after 4 years, they are really bad.
I decided to go with the Ducky Legend with cherry mx blues and white led back-lights.
http://www.duckychannel.com.tw/en/ducky-legend/In my research I found ducky to be a solid name and those who had them seemed to love them. The legend series with its thick aluminum top plate was what sealed the deal. I went with the cherry mx blues because I find myself doing way more typing as well as playing games these days.
For key-caps the ducky comes stock with ABS, rather then have them wear though I ordered a set of white and black of double shot pbt's. Went with white and black so i can change the modifiers to the opposite colour.

I have the ducky legend keyboard now, just waiting on the new key-caps. The keyboard it self is awesome. The cherry mx blues are a nice change, though will take some getting use to.
While searching and researching, this forum came up time and time again. It provided me valuable info, and opened my eyes to the world of custom keyboards. Thank You everyone.
I look forward to being a part of this unique community, and will definitely be taking part in future group buys.
