Low profile vs standard profile cases
« on: Mon, 06 April 2015, 19:42:51 »
I'm in the market for a poker.  As of now it's pretty much unavailable in retail but the pok3r is coming out.  However the new poker has a low profile case which I'm quite torn about whether I like or not.  Looking at it you can see the red pcb and such and it feels very naked.  What are people's experience with low profile cases, do the look better in person?  Do you see your pcb all day?

Here is a pok3r preorder:

However it doesn't come in white yet, any info on when that gets released?  Also, will there be a new batch of poker 2's when the pok3r gets released in case of people don' like the low profile casing?

I loooove low profile cases, especially when my plate is flush with the rim and fits snugly.

I'm also a bit of a minimalist and don't like the look of the cases that come up to the bottom of the caps. Feels cumbersome I guess.
I'm back.

low profile is far far easier to keep clean.
