My Fortunate Transaction with Halverson
« on: Mon, 06 April 2015, 19:42:25 »
This one time, I traded Halverson a Clack for a BroBot I wanted. He didn't rip me off. Then we had ice cream and hugged. 10/10 would trade with again.

It's a shame you have to imagine.   ^-^

I had an okay transaction with Halverson.  It went exactly as intended, but I was kinda hoping for a little extra, yknow?  ;)

Well, I mean, he did.  But it was independent of this particular transaction.  Soooooo

Halverson once paid me in full for a board.
Being the good old chap and great sport that I am I decided it would be fun to mail him the keyboard piece by piece (starting with the keycaps) every week.
It has 105 keys and I'm still on the first row.
10/10 Thanks for your patronage.

If you had bought my ANSI board you could have gotten your entire board an entire week sooner!

Lol! How did you know he was the one who hooked me up? :O

Honestly, my heart fluttered a bit when I saw this thread, thought I forgot something.

But Anson did give me a cap over a month ago and I'm yet to repay him! Mind you he'll get that and a sexually charged hug on Thursday ;)

So many new converts to the Church :D
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
