Yes, it required a lot of suspension of disbelief. For me it really dragged because the plot was so driven by coincidences and timing -- always somebody walking into the room at the wrong time, or overhearing something. Just got really predictable. I'm no expert but I don't think that's the right way to develop a plot. First couple seasons before they went to Ireland were great, but not sure what happened afterwards... still worth watching I think, just doesn't stack up against other second-golden-age shows.
