Looking for:

Round 4 SPH Number pad kit or full keyboard set

Leading Edge DC-3014
I doubt anyone has one of these, but if they want to part with it, even in parts or without switches. I would love it. The case, plate, and keycaps especially. I love the feet!

Gateron clear switch top covers
I slept through the group buy. :( If there's extras around or if a vendor picked some up I'm way interested in getting some.

For Sale:

Microsoft Surface Pro 3

- Core i7 1.7GHz processor
- 8GB Ram
- 512GB SSD

This is a really nice machine for working on the go as long as you're fine using Windows. When Windows 10 launches this will probably be an amazing device for it. In the meantime, it's great if you work with bluetooth peripherals and the pen use is better than my favorite tablet from days gone by, the Thinkpad X61.

This is my secondary surface and I'm letting go of it because while it's a fine Windows machine, the Linux support is just rough enough to make poking and prodding at during a workday too distracting. If you are interested in running Linux on it, there's a good set of resources here.

Asking $1900 for everything that came in the box:
- Surface
- Pen
- Power cord
- Manuals and crap

Make sure to get the repair pack from R5 while you can!

Hmmm. I don't think I want to sell my newly acquired R4 SPH set, but a web app to write posts for me sounds intriguing.

If you aren't partial to the the profile or keycap material you might be interested in a PBT Cherry profile set from imsto.  It might be more attainable too.

Amble,

Thanks for the suggestion. I've actually got a set of those caps but I'm quite partial to the SA profile.

Shoutout to Halverson for hooking me up with my first Round 4 set! Halverson is entitled to either a feature in the nuclear powerpack or a GeekHack post generator bot.

I'm still looking for more R4 SPH especially with a numpad!

We take a break from our regularly scheduled "gimme ya Space Cadet" to bring you this important bulletin.

I'm trying to finish up a Butterfly Keypad build before 21 March to present to my SO. The only thing I lack to finish this thing is a pair of two 2x Cherry PCB mount stabilizers. If anyone in Continental US has some stabilizers they'd be willing to hook a fellow up with before then that'd be very kind of you.

I'm not super sure what stabilizers go for at the moment but so long as it's reasonable you can name your price.

I will also post back to you some excellent locally roasted coffee, very nice tea, or sweet and crazy caffeinated guayusa if you're into any of those things.

SpamCarpe coming up? Or would you prefer to go by JDSpam?  :p

Thanks for the offer! I'm not sure they'll arrive in time for me to build it. US Post is having major issues with the weather lately so I was hoping to source locally.

Someone has kindly hooked me up with stabilizers! Do y'all just buy a bazillion whenever you can or wait for them to ship from overseas when you need them?

Updated the first post to note my interest in finding a number pad kit for my Space Cadet, the beautiful Wyse DSA, and a Tsangan so I can Wyse up a TRiK X.

Necrofieds still hoping for a Round 4 number pad but mostly curious about these Gateron switches.

Also listed a Microsoft Surface Pro 3. It's a great machine, just not for my purposes. If you're a hardcore artist type who also computers it's pretty much perfect.

Sourcing the Gateron black switches from Massdrop. Not as good as our group buy price but acceptable.
