IBM, Commodore and other branded coffee mugs.

I found a local factory that does all decoration to many glass stuff like perfume or vodka bottles (brands like D&G, Channel, Chopin, Belvedere) and I could get them to produce coffee mugs with any logos or graphics.
I am concerned about the trademarks though. If I for example make a 1000 IBM coffee mugs, can I legally sell them on eBay?

In Poland they honor trademarks and protect them under the Industrial Property Act, and EU OHIM registrations. You would be considered to be producing counterfeit or unlicensed goods and could have action taken against you. It's hard to guess if they would bother to come after you, but it could be a possibility. But people do such things and sell on ebay everyday.
It would be safest to make some of defunct brands if you have concerns.

They usually don't even talk with clients like me asking them to paint one thousand mugs, but my girlfriend now works there as a technology specialist so it's a different story.
