Model F (4704) controllers – $5.49 w/shipping

This eBay seller just appeared with four Model F (4704) controllers @ $2.00 + 3.49 shipping; thought someone might be able to use them:

Original IBM 4704 keyboard controller F50 F77 F62 F107

Sorta makes you wondered why they were removed, as the F's would've been worth much more with them... It must've been done some time ago.

I think that seller had a bunch of model Fs which they converted with Xwhatsit and then sold. These might be the controllers from that.

Yep. To someone interested in using the keyboard (converted to USB) there is zero value in these controllers coming with the keyboard. In fact, removing the controller would increase the value since you no longer have to desolder. At least IMO.

Doh.  Thought these were xhwatsit controllers lol.  I shoulda known better.

That eBay seller is joestran1, aka Ellipse. I'm guessing that, when he converted some boards using an xwhatsit for resale, he got some controllers out of it which he sold here.
