Model Ms in popular media

The other day I was watching that X-men origins: Wolverine movie, and couldn't help but notice that the bad guy colonel William Stryker favours the M for all his typing needs:

Or maybe it isn't. I could be mistaken, but it sure looked like it to me. But anyway, are there other examples?

Case around the F-keys looks different.

Huh? A Model M doesn't have a ridge between the main typing area and the function keys.

EDIT: But I do notice the area next to the Alt key looks just like that on a Model M. I suppose they could have modified the case of a Model M to make it less recognizable. But a Fujitsu FKB 4700 looks that way to, and it has the function key ridge.

The Model M is featured in the movie "Bad Boys" (1995). Will Smith grabs something right beside the keyboard so you get a good shot of it. I don't have a screenshot though.

Yeah, that ridge was what made me start doubting it was an M.

Our beloved Fujitsu Peerless.
I, for one, think it's a Fujitsu Peerless as well. The strange ridges on the F and J keys are a dead giveaway.

What? I liked it.

Also, the lettering on the keys is bolder than on a Fujitsu, even though the ridge is the same. So even if it isn't a model M, it may not be a Fujitsu either.

Hey guys, I stumbled upon your forum a couple weeks ago and find myself reading in most of my freetime, haha.  Well, to stay on topic, I saw "The Informant" (the new Matt Damon film) this afternoon.  The story takes place from 1992 - present and I noticed a few keyboards on desks, especially in the beginning, that looked to be Model M boards.

Anybody else see this film? It's a real knee slapper!

Thanks,
Matt

There's a white Unicomp On-the-Ball in the background in the movie "The Ex".
