How can you resist? An original IBM old-logo, pre-Selectric "Executive" electric typewriter—ready for restoration, but still working:

...with a BIN of just $14.99 plus $11.55 shipping. Even if it weren't so adorable, I'd be tempted to order it just to see how someone could possibly ship it so cheaply.

They couldn't. Shipping will be $25-30 if they can find a way to do it slow-slow ground.

Believe me, I have had shipping end up at more than the total selling price including shipping, and it is painful.

But only an ass would go back to the customer for more money.
Citizens United violates the essence of what made America a great country in its political system. Now it’s just an oligarchy, with unlimited political bribery being the essence of getting the nominations for president or to elect the president.
So now we’ve just seen a complete subversion of our political system as a payoff to major contributors, who want and expect and sometimes get favors for themselves after the election’s over.”

http://www.ebay.com/itm/IBM-Executive-Typewriter-Model-41-B-Typebar-Cover-Replacement-Parts-/301697411799?hash=item463e912ad7

That'll only get you its typebar. The seller is parting it out.

not even one of the typebar, it's just the upper cover.

A little sad to see this parted out...I'd love to own one (not that I need it, or even have the room for it  :p).

Oh, sorry, here's the link. I was trying to do three things at once, as usual.  :?P
