Replacement keycaps for IBM model M2
« on: Fri, 28 August 2015, 15:50:33 »
Awhile ago, I ordered an IBM model M2 off of ebay for cheap. I have been using it for awhile and I absolutely love it, so today I decided to clean it. Upon pulling off the numpad + key, one of the little plastic clips broke. Is there anywhere where I can order replacement keys for the M2? I checked unicomp and clickykeyboards, but they seem to just sell the caps that go on the original model M.

Not really. The best would be to create a WTB thread here. :)
It is easier to buy and sell stuff if you put your country/state of residence in your profile so that people could see it.

BTW, be careful that each spring is perfectly straight up when you put its key back on - if it isn't then the spring could come  between the edge of the barrel and the keycap and get dented. Then you may have to open up the keyboard to replace that single spring. The plastic snaps are a bit fragile and easily broken.
