This the first time it happened so I'm kind of clueless on what to do, so I need help from anyone who had a similar issue if there are any.
Going to my "issue," the hiragana/romaji toggle from my keyboard (I'm using HHKB Pro JP) suddenly decided not to work for some reason. It was working fine yesterday though. While the button itself is functional since I tried replacing it with tilde or windows start button, the language toggle itself doesnt work. Also the layout works fine too! Like, Shift + 2 will show "quotation mark" instead of the "@" sign as an example.
Heres what I have done so far:
- Restarted computer (the basic!) - no good
- Removed JP keyboard in Region and Language, added US keyboard, restart computer, removed english and added JP again - no good
- Reverted back to ANSI/default layout (I think) using that tiny program from HHKB, restart, then revert it back to JIS - no good, I think I just did the same thing as above
Please note that I did not touch any settings from IME. AFAIK I just plug in the keyboard, change to JIS layout, change keyboard to Japanese in Control Panel, restart computer and it works everytime, until now
Any ideas? And thank you for any help or suggestion in advance!
