keyboard to smartphone/tablet?

so i found this on amazon and thought to myself.... i wonder. Can i plug my TMK Teensy keyboard into my cellphone and it function as normal.

Interested as well. Also, what about plugging keyboards in general into tablets or phones?

yeah because hammering out TXT messages on a 40% on my phone in a coffee shop will shut down all those hipsters!

I use a USB OTG (on the go) adapter to use my Poker with my tablet. They can be found on Amazon for just a few dollars  :thumb: :thumb:

Yea, you can do this.  I do it when I am on a long car trip.   I use a USB female to USB micro male.  you hook the normal usb cord into the female end, and then plug the male end into the phone.

Alternatively, you could just get a USB micro/mini male to USB micro male and plug that directly into into your keyboard.

so, do keyboards w/ teensy's work w/ the majority of tablets then? what about iphone 6's?
