Realforce Keyboard Cases
« on: Mon, 16 November 2015, 00:14:27 »
Howdy yall. I was browsing the forum looking at other people's keyboards and noticed that there is an aftermarket keyboard case for the realforce 87u. So i looked into it further and saw that the price for the digilog case was more than the keyboard itself. I don't think the price justifies getting one only to modify the look of the keyboard. I was wondering if anyone has made a keyboard case made out of plastic which would be (maybe) much cheaper.

The Realforce already comes in a plastic case of high quality... so what's the point if it's not aluminum? To actually answer your question, I have never seen a realforce case that was made out of plastic other than an acrylic one with a wristwrest, but I can't remember where I saw that.

The point being that wit would be pretty cool to have different color cases without the high price tag.

I agree, that's one of the problems with topre keyboards, there just isn't the same level of customization as with MX boards. Hopefully more and more stuff will come out for topre (as well as Alps)
