Gateron vs Varmilo PBT Keycaps
« on: Wed, 04 November 2015, 11:34:37 »
Has anyone compared Gateron to Varmilo pbt keycaps? If yes what are the differences? With one is better. Or could it be that one makes them both.

Are you sure varmilos are OEM profile? I think they are cherry, or maybe that leopold stepped something profile (I still dont know the difference between cherry and leopold).

Btw, gaterons seems to be a little bit thicker.

There was a groupbuy here, selling blanks only.

I would really like those taobao dyesub sets either, but nobody is selling them on this side of the world. An interest check is currently open, with many people already joining, but im not sure if it will give any results. It seems the seller never responded.

We can hope at least.

I have some front-printed Varmilo white keycaps I am willing to part with. Unfortunately I can't sell them until I work out my VB87M issues with Massdrop. In the meantime I am happy to answer any questions about them.

Here is a sideshot of the profile, in case it helps:

So that I understand it right. Gateron are a little bit better then the Varmilo keycaps. Is there any store selling them?

What is wrong with your Varmilo keyboard? I heard that they are good.

There's was a defect in which pressing the 't' key would either repeat it twice or not register at all.
