Can anyone here recommend me software that will allow you to re-map keys not found on most standard keyboards (such as Turbo, diagonal arrows, etc.) that will work on Windows 2000? I want to remap a few keys on my keyboard to make things a tad easier.

SharpKeys will do that, but you'll need to install the .NET framework for it to run.

The turbo button is likely just a hardware key and you won't be able to remap it without resoldering it something else. The diagonal ones I am not sure, get sharpkeys as suggested and see if they generate scancodes.

I think the diagonals might be wired to send the two keystrokes.

Sorry for this tangent, on the Focus 2001, there's this blank key:

See that blank key, inbetween Ctrl and Alt? Can this key be remapped? I'd like to use this as Windows/Option key if possible.

I remapped it on mine to act as a Windows key using SharpKeys, which someone here recommended to me. It's good software.

You know, those Focus keyboards have double-shot keys too.

I have an FK-9000 that I found at a local thrift store for a few bucks on Saturday.  Grabbed it with the thought of passing it on to someone here who might be interested.  Like most of these, the calculator's LED display is borked -- but the keyboard seems to work great otherwise (but the keycaps could use a bath).  Anyone interested in this for $4 plus shipping... PM me.

Yes... it has the "blank" key shown above.  You too can have a Windows key without the Microsoft branding...
