BTC 5139 NIB $4.95 + shipping

I know many people avoid BTC keyboards in general, but the 5139 is a pretty nice as rubber domes go and when are you going to get a NIB vintage keyboard for under 5 bucks.

Nice! Some people would hesitate to regard an RD board as a "Great Find". However, these BTCs are among the better RD boards ever made (along with IBM's RD Model M's). They're not just domes, but domes over sliders, so they're especially smooth and stable. That eBay listing ($4.95+shipping) looks like the best deal you could ever expect on a new one.

Oh I agree, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these BTC dome with slider boards. So far they're the best rubber domes I've tried, they're better than some mechanicals I know.

Great find!  Looks like they're all gone, and that price, that didn't surprise me.

The seller has a few more of these of the same condition and for the same price so for those who were interested these are still available.
So fancy!

FYI, the box is total crap. Its delaminated and not really a box anymore. Looks ok until you open it.

That's good to know for people interested. How was the keyboard with that kind of box?

The keyboard was is excellent condition. Essentially brand new. Clean inside and out with no signs of damage.

How do they compare to Topre?

They're about $200 cheaper—what else do you need to know?

They are a very nice rubber dome, reminiscent of the Topre feel. Crisp rubber dome with relatively high activation. Not quite as smooth, but pretty good. Its not a perfect keyboard, but the BTC rubber domes are better than most. The keyboard is pretty cheap when it comes build quality. Its not flimsy, but its very light compared to a Topre board.

These look pretty nice.  Any way to get in touch with the seller outside of ebay?
