That's a Quickfire TK-like layout, and it's legit.  I'm not sure, but I recall there being a preorder or gb of some sort mentioned.  Either way, it's a great custom.

Yeah I was looking into getting one myself but the kit is around $150, and then an aluminum bottom or acrylic bottom will range from $100-$130, plus shipping, and then finally the taobao proxy fee. I paid overall $175 for the kit for the original RS96.

I tend to agree, i never liked flashy lights anyways. But for the (old) price, I wasn't going to be picky haha.

I love the solid feel and weight of an aluminum board, the only downside is if you wanted it for traveling but an aluminum 60% still isn't all that heavy imo. Acrylic boards just feel so flimsy, the lights are cool and all but they get boring rather quick. I do prefer in-switch lighting myself though, can't go wrong with that but some boards do look better without it.

Yeah I love the acrylic diffuser for the Jane, I'm still waiting for mine to come in the mail. I believe there is a few other boards that have it as well like the LZ CP and some TX-1800s. To be honest, the only thing holding me back from buying an HHKB is that there is no good aluminum case option but I can see that you've been busy with that.

Yeah, just give me a little more time on that. Going to make sure it is properly tested and community approved this time  But as my favorite board of all time, ill make sure the HHKB Case is worthy

I'm interested to see how I like the kit.  Pricing was amazing and group buy was fast as ever.  I've heard the software is really good too

The software is easy to use but in my opinion not all that great. It lacks some features like MX Lock compatibility, in-switch brightness control, LED settings itself aren't all that great, I still can't figure out how to use the FN control, etc.

I have a LZ-96 coming in the mail hopefully in a month or two, it has an alum case, and i'll be moving my RS96 pcb into the new case, and selling the leftovers so when that time comes i'll have one for sell without needing to go through an agent and all that.
