Built my QFR-I a lego space invaders wrist rest. Xpost from keyboards

I originally designed a Lego wrist rest with a hulk pixel art that wad beautiful but far too big. I downsized the design and did what i could and salvaged the pixel art. The wrist rest is surprisingly comfortable and I think looks great. I have included pics of the original hulk rest so you can see its perfectly flush with the case

You can definitely buy individual Lego bricks over sites like bricklink, incase you feel like getting parts for a wrist rest...

Those bricks can also be obtained directly from Lego via the Pick-a-Brick service. It can be slightly more expensive, and the selection is more limited (but everything needed here is available), but it's also usually simpler.


I really miss a wrist rest for my 'dox, I'll really consider such a solution (although I was rather looking for a slightly softer surface). But I'm curious: what did you used as "feets" to avoid that the wristrest slides too easily on the desk?

What if you'd buy transparent bricks and put LEDs under them?

Ooh that is a spicy idea. I would probably have to butcher some legos and cut out the top part for that to work but it is not a bad idea.

Why would you need to cut anything? There's trans-clear and colored transparent bricks and tiles...

Beside, you don't actually need to wire your own led, there's several lighting solutions from Lego, ranging from the old incandescent bricks to LED ones...

Yes, they are. In fact, I don't think there's a lot of Lego parts older than a couple months that aren't in LDD, and those are at least half a dozen years old, maybe far more.

There's actually plently of stud-less parts with curves, now.
