Hello and welcome. What's your favorite switch?

Welcome, hi  ;D So what's the deal with the rig in your picture if I may ask?

Welp I just bought a CM storm with brown switches.. I've tried a few at best buy and other local retailers and I think brown is my favorite as of right now. I'd like to try more or build a 60%.

My profile pic is my current rig.. It's in a state of upgrade but currently:
CPU: I7 3770k @5ghz (being replaced)
GPUs: EVGA FTW 970's
Asrock z77 professional (being replaced)
Gskill ram ddr3 @2000mhz ( being replaced)
Corsair ax1200i PSU
3X 560 radiators
2XD5 pumps
All EK blocks either installed or sitting in boxes
Caselabs SMA8 case

I enjoy building and modding so this thing is always being played with. Seems I kind of got the bug to build a keyboard..

breathtaking case and a beast of a machine  :) perhaps a topre board would pair well with your rig

Welcome to Geekhack!

Nice rig :)  Now you need a keyboard to match ...

It's amazing how long we can go upgrading and tweaking our computers without realising what a universe of options there are for the humble keyboard!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Thanks! Yeah it seems I'm forever trying to upgrade or improve upon something. I do have a mechanical kb.. It's just a humble CM storm..

Nothing wrong with a QFR - I have two of them, both still going strong after several years :)
