Hai!

So I stumbled upon these at Winkeyless.kr
http://winkeyless.kr/product/gateron-switch-pcb-mounted/

According to the site they are tactile Gateron clear and from the looks of it a Cherry MX Clear duplicate. If this is true they are putting the machinery they created with the Zealios to use.

Anyone else heard about this? Is this truly a Gateron version of the Cherry MX Clear? I got confused since Gateron Clear is a 35g linear switch in my world.

That's weird. Maybe Gateron changed what clears or, or maybe it's a mistake with the website. I have a bunch of Gateron clears. and they are definitely not tactile or 67 grams. To be fair, they are the older version with a different housing. The closest thing to a Gateron version of a Cherry Clear would be a Zealios Purple, which are manufactured by Gateron.

One can hope but I imagine it was a bad translation like many other things on his site. :D

Asked Hojin on Winkeyless and apparently they are tactile and not just some typo.

Woah. I thought that Zeal had entered into some type of deal with Gateron where his switches would be the only MX-Clear copies available. huh. Looks like I need to get my hands on some!

If memory serves, Gateron had clear, accessory housings prior to Zeal's switches. What differentiates Zeal's switches is a unique slider profile, which is very smooth and has the switch actuation higher in the stroke.

My recollection is that the Gateron clear switch is fitted with an extremely light spring, on the order of 35-40g.

I ordered some but I've confirmed the the stem bump is a lot more like zeals than gat browns and supposedly have comparable springs.
