Quick Introduction
« on: Thu, 07 April 2016, 08:19:20 »
well hello guys,

I just recently discovered my love for mechanical keyboards. It started with a WASD Code with Cherry MX green and just recently I purchased a backlit Pok3r 3 with clears which I plan to put in a wood case ...
Just need some nice SA caps with Mac modifiers, which seem to be pretty rare. Anyways ...

I'm 36 and work in IT, so I type quite a lot, although I'm not as proficient as I want to be. I'm also not a native english speaker (german actually) so please forgive occasional strange wordings :>

Hi, and welcome :D

Demik is trying to say that he's actually demik--in a glass cage of emotion ;) Not too many Cherry MX Green users around here. That's awesome. Have you tried buckling springs yet? #BSisloveBSislife

Welcome to Geekhack!

I like MX greens :)  Although sometimes their sound is a bit too light - I have been spoiled by the delicate thunder of buckling springs :))

There's quite a few German members around here now - time for a meetup?

It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Just this Saturday I purchased one off a friend of mine. I don't physically have it yet tho. Excited to try it!

I quite like this keyset. The base set is unavailable for weeks now. Status page don't even says a date yet. Guess I'll need to wait...

Patience will serve you well.

Also keep an eye on classifieds in case someone is selling a set.
