I'm never going to find a b-day Model M. Maybe a super early Unicomp if I'm lucky. My Unicomp is from 2001, but that's a year off. Close enough I suppose  :)

Completely opposite of what this thread intended to ask, but were there any SSKs manufactured in the year 2000? And to answer the original question, the oldest SSK I have seen was from 1988 IIRC.

I think they were done manufacturing in 99 but I could be wrong.

I have a 1390359 dated 04 Feb 1987. This is the oldest production SSK that I've seen. Hullo8d has two undated 1390359 engineering models that are older (based on their firmware version).

Wow, that's an early one! Yep, I don't think they went into production until 87 and the majority I have seen are from 87 and 88. The oldest one I have is September 87.
