Stiff Switches?

What if the stiffest MX switch out there?  Clicky or not.  I'd like to put some REALLY stiff switches in a few areas on a custom build.  Maybe caps lock or the win key, etc.  Would an after market mod be advised with some heavy springs?  If they even exist.  Like 100+g or more?

Super blacks were 120 iirc.  Couple years ago someone sources a spring that fit in an MX switch that his Mac Book Air would not actuate.

They were never common. I don't think they were ever used on a full board, just a switch or two and not on many models.  You could try messaging Photekq and see if he might have some more info, or you could try the simple questions and answers thread.

Someone sent me a 500 gf spring once. It's pretty insane xD .

I think the Hell on Earth switch might've been even heavier, though.

Found this info on spring dimensions.  Might help in a search for heavy alternates.

I do like to replace the space bar and enter with slightly heavier switches.  But 500 gf switches are kind of insane!

Super blacks are almost too heavy to actuate.

But there should be some places selling 100g + weighted switches that will do the job.

 I sold all my heavy springs or I could send you a few.

Super Blacks aren't really meant to be used frequently. It was a certain key on a certain keyboard that was made heavy to be very difficult to accidentally activate.

Regular blacks are pretty stiff. So are buckling springs. You could always throw in some extra o-rings to increase the required final force needed to actuate any old switch. Also, you could rebuild any set of switches with custom springs to be as stiff as you want!  ;-)
