Realforce 87U Variable - left side of the keyboard need more force.

I only got my Realforce Variable two days ago, and, already, I've noticed that the left side of the keyboard feels harder to press than the right side. I've tested them with pennies, and, as expected, the keys around 'f' need, maybe, one or two more coins than the keys around 'j'. I know this is variable, so the keys are going to differ in weight, but the ones in the middle should all be 45g, which they are not.

Is this a big deal, and is it normal for keys to differ in weight? I don't want to return it, I just want to know whether they'll soften, or whether I should be concerned or not.

What part of variable you missed? LoL... Pple told you to go for 55g or 45g... I'm pro 55 btw :-)

It is normal for there to be some slight variation across a board, whether it is a uniform board, or across equally weighted sections of a variable weight board.
