Regarding the "New in Bag" SGI, is this the model that is particularly difficult to convert to USB?

If so, if the NIB SGI case accommodates the PCB and plate from a ps/2 model,  I suppose one could swap the insides into the pristine case and adorn it with the brand new caps.
