Just for reference, I was in on the recent Massdrop run of Topre PBT spacebars and got two 'light greys', meant to match the HHKB colors. The colorway is a decent fit but it isn't exact. I can only tell if I stare at it from inches away, though. As far as the texture, I want to say they are marginally more granular-feeling than the standard PBT on the HHKB, but close enough. I really love the ones I got, unfortunately, quality was an issue for a great deal of the other orders, and people had issues with stem height differentials, tooling marks/nicks, 'melty' ends (essentially, no/little 'grainy' texture on either end of the keycap), and issues with getting the keycap to snap onto the guides appropriately. I was pretty lucky, from the sounds of it, and am very happy with my purchase. I think people are calling it Massdrop's (Matteo's/sp) second run, but I could be mistaken.
