Happy Hacking Keyboard problem.
« on: Sun, 06 November 2016, 15:52:20 »
Hello, I have a problem with my keyboard. That is after a coffee spill.
Now I disassembled the keyboard and cleaned it but I noticed that even without springs inserted that by just touching the contacts the space and x key don't respond. I did not see any damage but is that a sign that the board is fried?
Do I need a new keyboard now? I love my topre keyboard. Now I have to write with blue cherry which I don't like.
Appreciate the help.

Not sure what you're saying exactly...but without the springs the board won't work at all...The springs aren't there for resistance..

Try it with the springs attached. The springs are essential for passing trough the signals, without them it won't work.

Good luck!
