Half-Life Lambda Keycap
« on: Thu, 03 November 2016, 14:54:56 »
Hello Geekhackers,

I've been looking everywhere for the infamous Half-Life ESC keycap to slightly customize my pok3r. I have been looking everywhere and they're either sold out or not available.I've been into Half-Life and Counter-strike for about 8 years now and I would love to have one of those keycaps.

Anyway; Do any of you guys sell these keycaps or happen to know which company still sells them? I wouldn't mind buying them from a forum user. Would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Is that DCS?

I got mine from QWERkeys back in the day, and they are more like SA.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

The QWERkeys lambda's are Devlin K-Series, which are very close to SignaturePlastic's SA series. Slightly thicker, and if memory serves me, the spherical radius is larger (meaning less dip on the face of the keycap).
My 122 key Model M was born on July 25th, 1988.
