IC60 Keyboard Issues
« on: Tue, 29 November 2016, 18:26:54 »
Hello there everyone! So as the title states, I'm having an issue with my IC60.

As a disclaimer, I was originally using a cable I ordered off massdrop that was made to match my keycaps. After unplugging and plugging it in the mini side seems to have quite a bit of tip movement and I believe its shorted but I don't have the necessary tools to test it out I just know that it isn't supplying power. I've tried multiple cables and while I can put it into flash mode and get the led to light up, no PC will see it and it wont pass any keypresses on to the PC.

I assembled the board in August and have flashed it a couple times and my latest flash was working for 2 weeks before the board died.

I have some electronics experience but I'm at a loss at what I should do next to troubleshoot the board next. is there a chance that I shorted the ic with that cable? If so then what is my best option? I'm confident with my skills at soldering so I'm open to any fix you guys can come up with if it comes to that point.
