Whitefox keyboard test keys
« on: Mon, 12 December 2016, 22:37:02 »
Hello,

I purchased a whitefox keyboard kit because I wanted to build my first keyboard. Unfortunately they just sent email stating that the stabilizer measurements may be off and that we need to test and see if the keys are sticking. What is the easiest/fastest way of testing this without putting the whole thing together? I have never build a keyboard before.

From the email:
"There is a chance your WhiteFox keyboard has already been shipped out and there may be an issue with the stabilized keys getting stuck due to a small margin of error in the cutting of the plates."

Thanks

I believe they are plate mounted stabilizers, right?  If so, you can just stick the stabilizers in the plate along with a switch and a keycap.  They all just snap into the plate.  Then press the keycap down and see if it sticks/rubs
