I now live in AZ so I stayed in the south where it is extra hot. I am about to build a computer for the first time this week and have gotten addicted to the custom keyboard scene. I found this site through reddit's r/mechanicalkeyboards and this scene has slowly but surely taken up my free time and attention. Very much looking forward to taking part in some group buys, one day get an artisan cap, and figuring out what my endgame keyboard will be.
Note: I am using a heavily discounted corsair vengence k65 with cherry mx reds. I needed something for my soon to be built PC while I wait for the ergodox infinity on massdrop with 65g zealios, looking forward to building my first keyboard but kinda scared I will mess it up. The cherry mx red is certainly a unique feel to the membranes that I am used to but I kind of like it. I am also signed up for the realforce 87u but not sure if I will stay in it. Waiting on my first switch tester to come in tomorrow. You could say I am going into the mech whole hog
