Ducky Zero numpad issues ..
« on: Mon, 19 December 2016, 13:48:15 »
Hey there,

I've noticed a couple of times now that my Ducky Zero is behaving badly. For some reason the NumLock key will get stuck (mode off, light on) and I am not able to use the digits. It won't turn off and I don't have any NumLock scripts running on the PC. When I sign out and re-sign in into Windows, the problem will persist. If I soft reset the PC it will reinit USB and it will fix it (the keyboard will be reset, lightning mode and all).

This is happening to me every few days and a reboot has fixed it every time. I'm asking this question to find out if this is a somewhat known issue. Is this something Ducky Zero's have? I haven't used it on another PC but I don't have any other USB issues. Please not that everything else works fine, from lightning modes to all the keys. Including the numpad keys that are registered as arrow keys.

I don't really need a reason to finally upgrade this keyboard to something better but I am contemplating whether that should be another Ducky. As far as I know it is a good company with valued products. This board is 25 months old. I've used it as a daily driver since purchase.

Thanks for all feedback and help.

Does this happen even with N-key rollover turned off?

Good question .. N-key rollover has always been off. I've turned it on just now to see the difference ..
The board is a DK2108S2 BTW.

Thanks again,
