Thanks again for the help earlier today. I also got this keyboard from the same vendor (pics below). It has a 5 connector DIN plug, and a sticker in the back saying "AT Only", so I assumed it would work with a passive converter (PS2). However when I plug it in, it doesn't register any key presses (windows 10), and the LED indicators just keep flashing really fast. It does hold the caps lock, num lock and scroll lock LEDs on for a second, but then goes back to flickering. Video:

NOTE: there are two dip switches on the back (pictured), I've tried them in every combination possible, same result in any combination.

Q1: Is this because it requires an active converter?
Q2: Also, what are these switches? They have cherry compatible mounts and look like futabas, but I'm not sure. They are clickly after the tactile bump, but also click on the way up, which is interesting.

THANKS!!!!!  :D

Alright, there's 2 tings I would suggest for you to try first.

So, first of all, try the easiest method, using an active converter.

Next, if that doesn't work for you, open up the board and check the PCB for any dried out/ bloated capacitors and replace them.

Hope I could  be some help. The switches are indeed futabas, as you speculated.

PS/2 is not hot plugabble so first turn off the computer, plug the keyboard in, turn the computer on and try it.

I think you can find your switches identified here:

Thanks for the info and tips guys! I did try turning the PC off and booting with the keyboard plugged in, but got the same result.
I'm going to strip it open, clean it and check the caps, try an active adapter, and post the results here, maybe it will help someone else in the future.
