Greetings From an Artisan Keycap Vendor!
« on: Mon, 08 June 2015, 22:38:14 »
Hi GeekHack,

I'm Y from KappaKapps. We are a new artisan keycap vendor. Currently we have a few designs currently in the works, and the UnDead Clackin' (available at our site) is a sneak peek into what's in store. We will offer a variety of colors and materials for each keycap, and we'll make sure to always have Kapps in stock. At the moment we are working on resin designs and casting. We plane to offer designs on ALPS and Topre in the future.

If you have any questions, ask away. We're really excited to give the GeekHack community a taste of our designs.

Because this is our first month, we will be donating all our profits to our choice charity: Extra Life.

We are in the process of optimizing international shipping, so our shipping rates may be a bit high. If you PM us our country and area code we may be able to offer you a lower custom rate.

Thanks,
Y.

Welcome! I, too, look forward to Alps artisans.
I proxy anything including keyboards (キーボード / 鍵盤), from both Japan (日本) and China (中國). For more information, you may visit my dedicated webpage here: https://www.keyboards.es/proxying.html

Welcome to Geekhack!

Don't forget the buckling spring users :p
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
