I just started with all this and I'm hooked big time. I started off by looking on digikey for some Tactile switches for a 6 button row thingy with programmable buttons I wanted to make. After a couple of days I have gotten myself a used cherry mx 1800 with black switches and love it so far! Three sets of keycaps are already on their way from China and I also am taking part in the group buy for Gaterons and will have to make my own board(s). This brings us to me: I am an industrial designer with a love for tools and manufacturing processes as well as manual artisanal work. Mechanical keyboards Bridge my love for design and products with true value. I have access to quite a few tools and machines, so you can expect some mods and builds from me in the future!
Super excited so far, hope to spend some good times here and on /r/MechanicalKeyboards
See ya!
