Looking for a perfect USB cable
« on: Sat, 15 April 2017, 14:48:40 »
Hello,

I'm using a mechanical keyboard (QuickFire XT MX Brown). It uses a USB male to USB male cable.
This cable is thick and not flexible, I dont really like it.
I saw that some people use these cables for their keyboard : https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/93/91/0b/93910b14ad3782d55acb7d5aa9a650a3.jpg
It looks really great but I cant find this on Ebay..
Anyone know where I can find this ? (and how you call this)

Thank you.  :thumb:

They're custom cables, Mimic Cables has some, Winnja has some, 90N1NE has some, KeyClack has some.

I'd also like something better for my Leopold, maybe a braided cable or even a rubber cable but in a more exotic color or decoration. The problem is that I don't know where to find information about the thickness of cables, because I don't want to spend money and find that the cable doesn't fit the channel on the back of the keyboard. The thickness of the stock cable provided by Leopold is the same as the cable used in a Xbox controller.

You can buy a DIY kit from Keyclack that lets you pic the connectors. Or contact any cable makers here (those listed, as well as pexon who does awesome work) and they would be more than happy to do a custom job for you.

It would be cool but I live in France and I guess the shipment is very expensive  :-X
