I actually didn't like the layout in the OP and generated a layout with a lot more alternation while maintaining many of the other stats:
bldfw/,oyk
rnstmuaeih
zxcvg;.qjp
I think it has all the best features of Dvorak and Colemak combined.
- The hand alternation of Dvorak (71%)
- ZXCV in place like Colemak
- The rolls of Colemak (26%)
- Like the layout in OP, high inward/outward roll ratio (3.7)
- Low some finger repetition like Colemak (1.4%)
- Scores at least 2 points higher than alternatives in all tests on keyboard-layout-analyzer.
Colemak has too many seesaw motions (for example "you" on colemak) for me and not enough alteration (oonly 55%). The ratio of inward to outward rolls is ~1 which is not great. I think this layout is better than Colemak in most ways unless you don't like alternation.
