(Before you tell me to reset repeat rate, it's not that  :p )

My Ducky Shine 3 has been freezing (not responding to inputs) and repeating the last input (any key) for a second or so like thiiiiis. Inputs are not necessarily causing it, as sometimes these "hangups" occur and I can not type for a second or so until they are over. If one occurs while I'm typing though, it'll repeeeeeeat the last letter I typed a few times. During this time, any other keypresses are ignored. Any idea what could be causing it?

I've been advised to replace the mini usb port on it. Would this be a good place to start?

Any other ideas as to what might be causing it would be much appreciated. I really need to get around to fixing this, as I really miss this keyboard and don't have the money for a replacement.

It doesn't really seem to be a "key" issue, because my keyboard still hangs up when I'm not typing anything. They're more like intermittent hangups than keys repeating I guess. I probably should have detailed this better. But yeah, seems random/covering a wide span of keys rather than a certain part of my keyboard.

Could be the computer I have had that issues many times my self. Special since going from AMD to Intel. I swear the Intel USB drivers are complete garbage... I had the issue your speaking of with another board. Basically stop responding then reset its self. anytime it was booting into windows. All the lights would go off etc etc. The repeating its self would make since. Special if the driver for the USB is hanging up it could be re inputting the last input it received. I would try the keyboard on another computer see if it continues to happen. Shoot you could also try it on another usb port thought thats extremely hit and miss.

I had that same problem with a new Ducky Shine 2 MX Black awhile back.  Kept repeating keypresses after a momentary lock up.  I even tried it on multiple computers, and it still did the same thing.  I shipped it back, but MK.com tried it and said it was fine.  They sent the same keyboard back to me which was pretty much useless due to the issue.  It went in the box and stayed there.  I chalked it up to a loss.  :-(

Ah jeez...maybe it is a driver issue then.

I haven't gotten a chance to test it out on another system, so I'll try to find a reason to go use it a bit while cleaning up an old laptop or something. I've tried different ports/cables already :(

So I updated the firmware....and the issue has seemed to stop for now? Gonna keep testing, but that might have actually done it...
