Cherry MX RGB Switch Clearance

I have been looking into using these switches for a custom rgb keyboard. One thing i cannot seem to find any information on these switches is the size/clearance for the smd led. I'm not sure how much room the led has so i'm having a hard time picking out an SMD LED. I'm almost positive the 5050 LED's are to big however would something like a 2427 work? I am having a hard time finding any information about the dimensions of this switch to place an SMD LED. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am not 100% sure if this will help are not but least its a bit of info right! ZealPC's board has SMD led's on it not sure if you can judge a rough estimate of the size are gain any info from the add/pictures but figured I offer it up anyway.

Although I'm not sure of the dimensions, here are some shots of SMD LEDs on a Ducky PCB. Should be noted that the LEDs don't come in contact with any part of the switch since they reside on the bottom of the PCB and shine upward. I hope this is helpful.

Should also add that the RGB Cherry switches are the same size/dimensions as non-RGB switches. The only difference is that they have clear housing so the SMD LED can shine through it, a hole in the bottom housing and no LED holes in the top casing. However, dimensionally they are the same as their non-RGB counterpart.

Thanks for your help. I am aware that it has the same footprint as the non RGB. I was wondering how big the hole in the bottom was if a SMD LED would be able to sit under the switch or not. Instead of having to make cut outs in the PCB and mount an LED on the back. If it comes to that i will have to do it however i would like to be able to mount it just under the switch instead of drilling a hole. Thanks for your help and the Pictures did help with referencing the approximate size of the led.
