Recommend me cyber font
« on: Fri, 10 July 2020, 09:52:57 »
with the cyberpunk game coming out, i went ahead and built a whole new PC with custom case and Chassis layout to match the style of the Xbox LE console and i'm now turning my attention to my keyboard.
i can finds tones of colours that suit and could work, but what i feel this needs is a font to match, either a military stencil style or a very scratched edge style which i'm yet to see. Does anyone know of any upcoming or ongoing projects i should look at?

i was looking at the sanctuary rebirth set for a completely different build but literally started my key search the day they sold out (sucks to be me)

any help would be appreciated

also if it can match any of the colours here, bonus, if not, im sure i'll live

You could probably get a custom set done by WASD.  I think people didn't really like the feel of their printing, but it's the most custom option out there.

I tend to think even in a cyberpunk world, electronic devices like keyboards are going to be commercially made.  The edgy hand-scratched font doesn't feel right.

Personally, I could see OCR-B -- the classic "text under barcodes" working.

Console matches DSA Galaxy Class, controller matches the Ghost Commander kit from Commando 88

I actually rather like the look of the ghost commander keys.
and i wasn't looking for a style of "what would be used" i was looking for something that would tie in nicely with the promo aesthetic and style of both the console and my own case.
using just the standard keyboard font just doesn't quiet cut it here.
