I am running an IC for AEK spacebars, to replace broken or gross yellow ABS spacebars from the awesome Apple Extended Keyboard PBT keyset.
Signature Plastics has the capability to produce these spacebars, but it is a special order item, and I'll be buying in bulk and re-distributing them.
The stabilizer slots on the SP bars are MX mount, unlike the Alps mounts on the original bars.
I need to produce stabilizer wires with different dimensions to allow the use of Costar stabilizer inserts on these replacement spacebars.
The new bars I am ordering are still 2, maybe 3 months out, and I'd like to get to work on my wire bending jig for making the stabilizer wires.
I am looking to BORROW someone's 6.5u signature plastics alps spacebar. for purposes of prototyping stabilizers and measuring things.
The only set I know of they were produced in was Alpine winter, but there may be more, I'm not sure.
If you are willing to let me borrow your spacebar, I'll pay for shipping both ways, and compensate you for your generosity.
If you just want to sell your spacebar, I'll buy it from you, too.
Whoever lends me/sells me what I'm looking for, I can give you one of these spacebars I'm working on for free if you want!
