[SOLD] 2x Zenith ZKB-2R with Green Alps switches
« on: Mon, 30 April 2018, 11:10:56 »
WTS two used Zenith ZKB-2R keyboards from December 1988 and January 1989.
I got these as part of a trade years ago with the plans on harvesting the switches for a different board but have never gotten around to it.
Unfortunately I don't have the adapter to test the boards either.
The switches all feel nice and are responsive.
The key caps are beautiful double shots even the green Alt keys.
I am looking for $100 each (free shipping in Con US, you pay international shipping) but I'm open to negotiation, especially if someone wants both.
Not really interested in trades unless someone wants to help me get a second Kishsaver  :))

Thanks for looking

I was going to say GLWS, but it appears it's not necessary xD .

Hope these will find a good home! :) They're magnificent boards, not worth being torn apart for their switches like some people do.

Agreed. Hoping to use one of them as is, if possible, being inspired by your videos.  :thumb:

Yes, should be very easy, it's AT/XT and the layout is quite close to 101 :) .

Trust me I won't be tearing apart these keyboards! I have a Zenith collection that I will be adding them to. These ones appear to be in really nice shape, looking forward to trying them out. These will be my first ZKB-2's with green alps. Wondering how they will compare to my yellow alps ones :)
