This is the older AT cable.  There's nothing really special about it other than you will need an adapter(s) to use it with PS/2 or USB.

Yeah, but it's black.  So it's basically similar to the cable on my Model F AT keyboard.   But it's detachable.    You wouldn't have a part no. on that cable would you??  Thx.

Nah, one of the IBM-lovers like Kishy or Ch_123 might, though.  You may want to check the Wiki, too, but I don't think there is anything on cables and part numbers, though.

Something interesting: I do have an SDL cable with a part number sticker on it.

Not my black AT one though.

The uncoiled SDL cable is the rare one.  Good luck finding it.  This M4 cable came from Unicomp but Chuck SWEARS they don't have any more.  I betcha he has a garage filled with them but is pissed at my Unicomp jokes.

I figured I'd never find one of those for sale so I ended up making a few black Franken-cables.

Nice.  My attempt was utter fail even it did work electrically.

Yeah, I didn't even try disassembling the SDL connector. I ended up just splicing the SDL end of a removable M cable to a black PS/2 cable that I snipped off of a cheapo keyboard. I put black braided sleeve on one of the pictured ones to cover up the splice, the other one I just did the splice really close to the SDL connector and used shrink tubing to cover it.
