Custom keyboard wrist rests
« on: Sun, 01 July 2018, 21:53:56 »
I currently use a battlestation 10 wrist rest but I would like another unique rest. I have only found a few makers that have them however it seems that I am out of luck getting them from a couple of them. The only two I have found in the U.S. are Noko and Battlestation.io however Noko has been done making them for a while now and battlestation has not updated their inventory for a while now and everything is sold out. The only other maker I have found is on Taobao called orangeneedsmore. Are these the only custom options available if I want special colors and sizing? Let me know if you have any suggestions or know of others, thanks!

I used to use wrist rests  the truth is they just encourage poor typing form. Better to learn to type without it. Straight wrist and forearms. The rest encourages wrist extension. Ditch it

True, but I do not use "wrist rests" for my wrists, it is more of a palm rest. I have never seen anyone say that using it as a palm support is bad but I could be wrong.

In general, wrist rests aren't great for ergonomics. That being said, I know there are some custom wrist rest makers out there. I think ensulyn on Reddit does them and there should be some others.
