Looking for help selecting TLK LED Keyboard
« on: Wed, 22 August 2018, 15:25:53 »
Hello, fellow mech keyboard enthusiasts.

Sorry, I know these types of threads are posted every week, but I hope I could be very specific in my question. I've searched a bit but couldn't find exact thread.

I own two mech keyboard:
CoolerMaster Rapidfire CherryMX Blue TKL sized (not led)
Ducky Zero Shine CherryMX Blue full sized
I like both with preference between these two goes to Ducky as I never had an issue with it.

What I would like to is to replace CM RF with another CherryMX blue or similar Blue/clicky switches (I'm not married to Cherry).
It must be LED illuminated (color not important). This is the main reason I want a replacement.
I don't game much so Nkey rollover is not an issue, nor any other additional features. Dedicated volume control would be nice to have but not a dealbreaker.

Budget: $50-100 [somewhat flexible, but lower-> better]
I'm located in the US and I'd like to order it online with delivery.

You might like the GMMK TKL.  What's cool about it is it has hot-swapable switches.  So you can put cherry mx blues in it, then if you get bored of that you can switch it out.  It's just a tad over your budget at like $110 with keycaps and switches included.

Disclaimer:  I haven't tried it so maybe look at some reviews.

THANKS! Swappable switches is nice and rgb led too, but at $110 with none-CherryMX switches, this one seems on the pricey side and has features I don't care about much.
I was thinking something along lines of HyperX or Cougar ...
Amazon has $30 mech keyboards, but I highly suspect that they are garbage with fake reviews.
