I am new to Mech Keyboards and excited to find this forum.
I have been frustrated with my experience on membrane boards. typing always seemed to be a major PITA and I did not know why.
Two weeks ago I did not know about mechanical boards, now I have two, Corsair K63 75%? (home) and a Ducky one 2 full size (work) in hand, joined a drop for an 1800 and plan on getting an Anne Pro 2 for a portable board. Typing is so much more enjoyable now. totally agree on the idea of quality keebs since we spend significant time on them every day.
I must say the learning curve is pretty steep but the journey is exciting.
