Best 65% Keyboard (CherryMX vs Outemu)
« on: Fri, 01 March 2019, 13:31:31 »
First post here! (Please tell me if I did anything wrong) Text
Ok, So I am deciding between a VA68M V3, MIYA Pro and a Drevo Calibur 71(I cant find the white version anywhere). Here’s my dilemma, You can remap keys on the Drevo (pgup/pgdn to home/end, and some other macros) but it doesn’t have genuine CherryMX Switches. Now the MIYA Pro and the VA68M V3 keys cannot be remapped (I contacted Varmilo support, and they said it was, but this is the only program I found on their website)
My next problem: What is the difference between the VA68M V3 and the MIYA Pro, the I only thing I’ve found different, is that the VA68M V3 uses a metal case and the MIYA doesn’t. Is there anything I’m missing? and if I’m not, is the metal casing worth the extra $80.
I will be getting CherryMX/Outemu Browns and Windows 10.

Thanks

I would say a metal case is worth it makes the typing experience more solid then a plastic case. These days clone switches have come so far that they aren't that bad anymore but cherry will be the more superior one with smoothness and less wobble from my experience comparing it to Outemu.
