Hereby a few simple hacks that I made to my Kinesis Advantage.
First hack is a Kensington Lock slot

The slot dimensions are available online. A thin piece of sheetmetal stainless was placed on the inside. It was glued in place with monosulfide glue. Silicone releases vinegar acid that causes corrosion. Using a glue that has a little flex prevents it coming undone. The final piece did not protrude as is visible in the image since this would inhibit reassembly.
The second hack is a usb-C dongle.

The usb-C dongle is used to interface with my Android phone. Since I rarely write down anything I now can take my Kinesis along to meetings and write notes using Term-UX VIM. This is simpler than lugging a laptop along or if I am at a client where I only have a desktop then this even simpler.
