nerd introducing himself with a bunch of questions
« on: Mon, 25 November 2019, 12:12:51 »
hey guys! i'm new here and boy do i have a bunch of questions. so i've found myself fallen into the pit of mechanical keyboards and although i should be worried, i don't have plans of slowing down or stopping anytime soon.

anyways, i had some questions on where to look to purchase some items. i'm in the market for a high end custom mechanical keyboard and a nice keycap set to go with it. i really like the keycult no.2 and singa v3 just to name a few. i've found countless of beautiful GMK keycap sets only to be disappointed that they are sold out, or they have a non-guaranteed delivery date of 3 months later. i understand thats how group buys work, but i'm a very impatient person so that doesn't work for me. i don't mind paying a premium as long as i'm purchasing from someone that has it in-hand and can ship it. is there an aftermarket place i can purchase said desired items? i've looked on the marketplace/classifieds thread here but don't seem to find anything to my liking. am i even looking in the right place? where else do people sell their quality goods?

Welcome :)

You should try mechmarket there's much more traffic there.
If you don't mind paying a premium you could always PM a person that has something you want, maybe work something out 🧐

^ Agreed. From what I know mechmarket's the best bet unless you're DMing people who you know already has a set. Were you able to find anything yet? Did any of the platform do you like best so far to search for things?
